Apparently all or most of the stock that U.S. growers have and are calling Bracken Rose is not likely to be the real Bracken Rose, which originated in Australia, is a B size, and looks quite a lot different from this. This dahlia is about 2.5 to 3” in diameter. If you are a US grower looking for Bracken Rose, this is the dahlia you think you want, you and I have just been duped on the name. I have no idea what the true identity of this dahlia is. It is a damn shame because this is an amazing variety and it would be popular whatever its actual name was.
